Documentation

Learn how to use Krosyn to connect your applications.

Notification Preferences

Control which alerts you receive and how they are delivered. Each notification type can be independently toggled for in-app and email channels.

Overview

Krosyn sends notifications for important events such as connector failures, team changes, and billing issues. You can choose which notifications you want to receive and whether they arrive in-app, by email, or both.

Managing Preferences

Navigate to Settings > Notifications to view and edit your notification preferences.

The page displays a toggle matrix grouped by category. Each row represents a notification type with two checkboxes: one for in-app delivery and one for email. Toggle the checkboxes to enable or disable each channel, then click Save preferences.

Channels

Each notification type supports two delivery channels that can be toggled independently:

ChannelDescription
In-app Notifications appear in the notification bell within the Krosyn interface. Stored in the database.
EmailNotifications are sent to your account email address.

Notification Types

The following notification types are available. All types are enabled for both channels by default.

CategoryTypeDescriptionDefault
ConnectorsConnector execution failed A connector raised an error or failed to complete. Throttled to once per hour per connector. Both
ConnectorsCircuit breaker openedA perform endpoint failed too many times and has been temporarily blocked. Both
ConnectorsEndpoint token expiring soonA connector endpoint token expires within 7 days. Both
OrganizationMember invitedSomeone was invited to your organization. Both
OrganizationMember joinedA new member accepted an invite and joined your organization. Both
BillingPayment failedA subscription payment for your organization failed. Both

"Both" means in-app and email are enabled by default. You can disable either channel for any type.

Scope

Notification preferences are scoped per user, per organization. If you belong to multiple organizations, your preferences in one organization do not affect the other. Switch organizations to configure each one separately.

When no custom preference has been saved for a notification type, the system default is used (both channels enabled).
